String Praxis publishes
scholarly papers on the pedagogy and performance of bowed
string instruments twice a year. Research and discussion
topics include the teaching and learning of string
performance, the
history and methodology of string pedagogy, scholarly discussion of
teaching materials and methods, conceptual foundations of pedagogy and
performance and the performance practice and performance culture
relevant to string instruments.
String Praxis is a fully peer reviewed on-line journal. Submissions to the journal should follow the
submission guidelines and referencing standards.
